  • Growing Metrowest Registered Investment Advisory firm is seeking an experienced Portfolio Operations Associate to join our team. The primary function of this role is to handle the day-to-day management of client portfolios, ensuring they are being invested according to assigned strategies and allocations, while managing ongoing account needs such as distributions, contributions, and rebalancing.
  • The Portfolio Operations Team is a centralized group within the firm that works closely with Wealth Managers and the Investment Team to provide clients with custom-tailored investment portfolios to help them achieve financial peace of mind.
  • This is a hybrid position with the candidate expected to report to our headquarters in Westborough, MA.
  • Key Responsibilities
  • Manage daily portfolio operations ensuring adherence to investment strategies and target allocations
  • Process and oversee client account transactions including contributions, distributions, transfers, and systematic rebalancing
  • Collaborate with Wealth Managers to implement portfolio adjustments and address client needs
  • Partner with the Investment Team to execute strategy changes and allocation shifts
  • Monitor portfolio compliance and drift tolerances
  • Respond to the Chief Compliance Officer and other compliance personnel on matters as needed
  • Follow all compliance procedures as outlined in the Compliance Policy and Procedures manual
  • Perform other related duties as required
  • Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant industry experience required
  • Experience with Orion and Orion Eclipse a plus
  • Salesforce CRM experience a plus
  • Trading and capital markets experience a plus
  • Strong Excel skills
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively in team settings
