- Exciting Opportunity for Psychiatric Physician Assistants & Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners
- River Region Psychiatry Associates is seeking dedicated Psychiatric Physician Assistants (PAs) and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners (PMHNPs) to join our growing team in Dickson, TN.
- This will be a Full-time onsite opportunity in both Inpatient and Outpatient settings, M-F with one weekend of call a month.

- Key Responsibilities
- • Perform comprehensive psychiatric assessments and develop individualized treatment plans. Manage medications for patients, including those with substance use disorders.
- • Deliver high-quality inpatient and/or outpatient psychiatric care.
- • Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to ensure exceptional patient outcomes.
- • Maintain accurate and compliant documentation standards.

- Requirements
- Current licensure as a Physician Assistant (PA) with psychiatric experience or a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) in the state you are applying to.
- Board Certification as a PA or PMHNP.
- Must have DEA or have the ability and qualifications to obtain it.
- Prior experience preferred in providing mental health counseling services within a clinical setting.
- Must possess a State License to practice and it must be in good standing.
- Must possess the knowledge base in health promotion maintenance, advanced pathophysiology, advanced health assessment and pharmacology.
