Job Description The Personal Wealth Team Head will lead and manage a team of Wealth Relationship Managers, driving the achievement of sales targets, enhancing client relationships, and ensuring the delivery of exceptional wealth management solutions to high-net-worth individuals and affluent clients within United Overseas Bank Ltd. Job Responsibilities Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of Personal Wealth Relationship Managers to achieve and exceed individual and team sales targets for wealth management products and services (e.g., investments, insurance, deposits, loans). Develop and implement strategic plans to grow the personal wealth client base and deepen existing client relationships. Monitor team performance against key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular feedback, coaching, and training to enhance skills and knowledge. Oversee the acquisition, retention, and growth of high-net-worth and affluent client portfolios, ensuring a client-centric approach. Stay abreast of market trends, economic conditions, and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities and adjust strategies accordingly. Ensure full compliance with all internal policies, regulatory requirements, and ethical standards pertaining to wealth management and financial advisory services. Collaborate with other departments within the bank (e.g., product development, operations, risk management) to deliver integrated client solutions and seamless service. Manage escalated client issues and complaints effectively, striving for positive resolutions and maintaining client satisfaction. Conduct regular reviews of client portfolios to ensure alignment with financial goals, risk appetite, and market opportunities. Job Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field. An MBA or relevant professional certifications (e.g., CFA, CFP) is highly preferred. Minimum of 4 years of experience in wealth management, private banking, or financial advisory. Proven track record of consistently meeting and exceeding sales targets in a wealth management environment. Strong understanding of a wide range of financial products, including investment instruments (equities, bonds, mutual funds), insurance, and wealth planning solutions will be added advantage. Leadership, coaching, and team-building skills with the ability to inspire and develop high-performing teams. Good communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport with affluent clients and internal stakeholders. In-depth knowledge of financial regulations, compliance requirements, and risk management principles within the banking and wealth management industry. Client-centric mindset with a strong commitment to delivering outstanding service and building long-term relationships Proactive, results-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
