- We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Housekeeper to join our Hawk’s Nest location. The ideal candidate will help ensure all club facilities — including locker rooms, dining areas, offices, and restrooms — are maintained in pristine, sanitary condition. This role is essential to providing a first-class experience for our members and guests.
- Requirements
- Formal Education: High School or equivalent.
- Skills: Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Knowledge & Certificates: Basic Housekeeping skills.
- Experience: None required, Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies (preferred).
- Reports to: Director of Facilities
Job Duties
- Clubhouse Facilities
- 1. Maintains facilities in a clean and sanitary condition.
- 2. Cleans and empties all trash containers.
- 3. Empties garbage cans in Pro Shop, locker rooms, bathrooms, Admin areas and employee restrooms.
- 4. Ensures that all refuse is properly removed from the club house and its premises.
- 5. Keeps inside entry way neat, clean and free of any boxes.
- 6. Washes inside and outside of windows.
- 7. Damp-dusts furniture, light fixtures, window sills, and hand rails.
- 8. Dusts and waxes all wood surfaces.
- 9. Cleans and polishes all brass.
- 10. Sweeps and damp-mops all corridor floors, lobby, dining areas and others on a daily basis.
- 11. Vacuums all rugs and carpets.
- 12. Ensures locker rooms are neat and clean; picks up any clothes on the floor.
- 13. Reports any damage, burned out light bulbs and plumbing problems to the Supervisor.
- 14. Performs any additional tasks as needed.
Performance Standards
- 1. Must comply with all rules, regulations and policies as stated in the Employee Handbook and/or established by the Board of Governors.
- 2. Must adhere to the Club’s Code of Ethics.
- 3. Must be polite and courteous when dealing with members, guests and employees.
- 4. Must adhere to policies and procedures of the Club’s ongoing safety program.
- 5. Must work cooperatively with co-workers and facilitate same.
- 6. Must communicate well with others.
- 7. Must be able to work well under pressure and meet all deadlines.
- 8. Must follow requests of supervisors without question unless in conflict with club policies or legal regulations.
- 9. Must present a neat appearance, possess a pleasant personality and wear professional attire.
- 10. Must be able to stand, stoop, bend, reach overhead, push, pull, and lift fifty (50) pounds.
Working Conditions
- 1. Requires indoor and some outdoor work.
- 2. Ability to work with standard household cleaning agents/chemicals/bleaches, etc.
- 3. Monday-Friday/20 hours per week.
- Supervises: No supervisory duties are included with this position.
