Role Definition – Part-Time Finance Manager (Contract/Part-Time) Core Mission: Maintain clean financial records across multiple brands, prepare actionable financial insights, and support forecasting to guide strategic growth. 🔹 Responsibilities Bookkeeping Support Oversee/coordinate with VA for receipt tracking, expense categorization, and reconciliations. Ensure QuickBooks (or chosen system) is always clean and current. Cash Flow Management Prepare weekly cash flow snapshots (in/out, burn rate, runway). Flag risks (e.g., delayed receivables, unexpected costs). Budgeting & Variance Reporting Build and maintain budget vs. actuals for each entity. Provide commentary on deviations (why over/under budget happened). Forecasting & Pro Forma Develop rolling 3–6 month forecasts. Support pro forma financials for new gyms, equipment contracts, or consulting launches. Executive Reporting Deliver monthly financial dashboard with clear takeaways: revenue, margin, cash, debt, pipeline. Translate financials into strategic insights (not just reports). 🔹 Ideal Skills Strong with QuickBooks Online (or Xero) + Excel/Google Sheets modeling. Experience preparing cash flow forecasts and pro forma projections. Comfortable working across multiple entities/brands. Bonus: Startup/consulting/gym/fitness experience.
