Description of Work The position will be responsible for completing all the tasks required within the Property Management Section with regards to ensuring that DEQ employees receive the services required to work in the Downtown Raleigh complex. These services include but are not limited to security badge administration, parking administration, key and core requests, and copy paper purchases. Financial Services: The position will be responsible for paying all invoices and P-Card transactions for service orders, badge and key requests, and parking requests generated by the property management section. Travel Coordination: The position will be required to help with the procurement of vehicles for the section for travel to regional offices and land easements across the state, as well as helping with travel requests, and per-diem paperwork. Cross-Training Requirements: The position will be considered the back-up contact for other duties within the Property Management Group including Helping assign work orders to Facilities Management utilizing DEQ’s DOTs tickets system, helping with vehicle management within the department by helping fulfill Motor Fleet Management requests and the vehicle rental program. From time to time there will be some special projects such as preparing fiscal research documents and reports for legislative inquires. Other duties as assigned. Key Responsibilities: Responsible for completing all the tasks required within the Property Management Section with regards to ensuring that DEQ employees receive the services required to work in the Downtown Raleigh complex. These services include but are not limited to security badge administration, parking administration, mobile device requests, key and core requests, and copy paper purchases. Assists property management related such as leases, MOUs, space management, and other administrative tasks as well as maintaining and managing the Section’s lease files both hard copies and electronic as well as keep the Master Lease Data Base up to date with all current lease term information. Processes P-Card transactions for FHSD division. Proficient in word, excel, and PowerPoint. Supplemental Information: The DEQ Facilities Health and Safety Division provides support to DEQ’s divisions at multiple sites across the state that includes: Property management for major buildings at Green Square, Archdale, Reedy Creek Road Complex, and dotted line responsibility for all Division of Marine Fisheries facilities; real property leases and sub-leases throughout the state, (34 sites, 850,000 sq. ft.) facility related contracts, DOTS tickets, office relocations, Motor Fleet and Department owned vehicles, boats, motors, trailers, planes, drones, mobile devices, security, parking, and insurance. The Division is responsible for all aspects of DEQ’s Capital Project Planning and Management, DEQ’S Safety Program, The Stewardship of over 400 Land Easements and 5,000 acres of State Game Lease Land.
