Compensation:
- Competitive starting pay range of $17.59-$19.19 per hour, weekly, paid weekly
- Shift Differential $2.00

Responsibilities:
JOB SUMMARY:
This role oversees all packaging with essential duties that include inspecting, packing, stacking, and wrapping pallets. In this role, you will ensure that all product meets quality standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Packages materials and products manually and/or by using packaging equipment from a table to a towline cart.
- Ensure correct, quality, assembly, and packaging of finished goods.
- Assist line operations in maintaining the quality of products.
- Maintains a safe, clean work area and follows all established safety rules and Standard Operating Procedures.
- Bags and packs products into boxes both manually and using packaging equipment.
- Stacks and wraps boxes on distribution tow cart.
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing all other tasks or duties as assigned.
- Positions and mounts unwind stand with polystyrene material and replenish boxes/packaging material in the production area.
- Train new packaging associates to perform job tasks correctly and safely.
- Observes new packaging associate safety regulations including personal protective equipment and the use of machinery.
Skills and Competencies
- Previous experience in a manufacturing/production environment.
- Mechanical aptitude demonstrated problem-solving skills and effective communication skills - written and verbal are required.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to stand on your feet and work for an entire 12-hour shift.

Conyers is an Atlanta suburb and the only city in Rockdale County, Georgia. The city is 24 miles east of downtown Atlanta and is a part of the Atlanta Metropolitan Area. As of the 2010 census, the city population was 15,195. The city is the county seat of Rockdale County.
The plant was acquired by Pactiv in 2003, manufactures PET and Polypropylene Lids & ESL Trays, and has approximately 180 employees. The Conyers plant was awarded Pactiv Safety Plant of the Year 2018, and Foodservice BU Environmental Plant of the Year 2019.
