  • Shift: Mon-Fri AM Shift (must be flexible to work weekends as needed)

  • Role Overview
  • The Operations Supervisor is a key leader ensuring the smooth execution of Beep’s autonomous shuttle operations in Jacksonville. This role combines hands-on operational oversight with strategic workforce management, safety compliance, and client engagement. You’ll lead a dynamic team, drive performance excellence, and uphold Beep’s commitment to safety and customer satisfaction.
  • What You’ll Do
  • Safety & Compliance
  • Champion Beep’s safety-first culture in all operations.
  • Respond to incidents, investigate, and complete reports promptly.
  • Ensure compliance with DOT, NHTSA, OSHA, and Beep’s operational standards.
  • Operational Leadership
  • Oversee daily shuttle operations, including dispatch and troubleshooting.
  • Manage workforce scheduling, staffing, and timecard approvals.
  • Maintain vehicle and facility readiness; coordinate maintenance activities.
  • Client & Stakeholder Engagement
  • Serve as the primary liaison with JTA and other partners.
  • Lead team briefings and communicate operational updates clearly.
  • Represent Beep in meetings and ensure alignment with client expectations.
  • Performance & Process Improvement
  • Monitor KPIs and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Drive operational efficiency through data-driven decision-making.
  • Support incident management and proactive issue resolution.

  • Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Transportation, Logistics, or related field preferred.

Experience

  • 3+ years in operations leadership; transit or mobility experience strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with autonomous vehicle technology is a plus.

Skills

  • Strong leadership and team management in dynamic environments.
  • Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and operational reporting tools.

Other

  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights/weekends.
  • Comfortable working outdoors and in fast-paced settings.

  • Ability to stand/walk for extended periods; lift up to 45 lbs.
  • Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
  • Eligible to work in the U.S. without restrictions.
