I am looking for a New York State Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) or Registered Architect (RA) to prepare, stamp, and file backflow prevention plans for a warehouse project in Suffolk County, New York. The goal is to secure approval for New Service from the Suffolk County Water Authority (SCWA). You must be capable of signing and sealing the drawings yourself. Project Specifications: • Project Type: Warehouse / Commercial. • Service Type: New Service. • Fire/Sprinkler Service: 6-inch line. • Domestic Water Service: 2-inch line. Scope of Work: 1. Design & Engineering: Create compliant engineering drawings for the backflow prevention assembly based on SCWA standards. 2. Sign & Seal: Stamp the final plans with your valid NYS license. 3. Documentation & Filing: Complete all necessary SCWA application forms/stepper paperwork and handle the submission process with the correct department. 4. Revisions: Address any comments or revisions requested by SCWA to ensure approval. Requirements: • MUST have a valid NYS Professional Engineer (PE) or Registered Architect (RA) license.
