Key Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily living activities under the supervision of licensed staff
- Observe and report changes in residents’ conditions to the charge nurse
- Maintain a safe, clean, and respectful environment for residents
- Document care activities using electronic health records
- Attend training sessions and participate in ongoing education
- Foster a positive and respectful atmosphere with residents, families, and team members
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Completion of non-certified nursing assistant training (or willingness to enroll)
- Compassionate, dependable, and eager to learn

- Excellent communication skills with residents, families, and team members
- Positive attitude toward change and continuous improvement in care delivery
- Basic computer proficiency for documenting resident care
- Commitment to resident rights, safety, and sanitation standards
- Reliable and punctual with a strong sense of responsibility
- Able to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary care team
- Physically able to perform essential duties: standing, walking, bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, and reaching throughout the shift
- Maintains confidentiality and professionalism at all times
Experience & Education
- Intention to enroll in the next State-Certified CNA Training Course offered by Star Valley Health
- Current Basic Life Support (CPR) certification or willingness to obtain prior to employment
