Key Responsibilities

  • Assist residents with daily living activities under the supervision of licensed staff
  • Observe and report changes in residents’ conditions to the charge nurse
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and respectful environment for residents
  • Document care activities using electronic health records
  • Attend training sessions and participate in ongoing education
  • Foster a positive and respectful atmosphere with residents, families, and team members
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Completion of non-certified nursing assistant training (or willingness to enroll)

  • Positive attitude toward change and continuous improvement in care delivery
  • Basic computer proficiency for documenting resident care
  • Commitment to resident rights, safety, and sanitation standards
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong sense of responsibility
  • Able to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary care team
  • Physically able to perform essential duties: standing, walking, bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, and reaching throughout the shift
  • Maintains confidentiality and professionalism at all times

Experience & Education

  • Intention to enroll in the next State-Certified CNA Training Course offered by Star Valley Health
  • Current Basic Life Support (CPR) certification or willingness to obtain prior to employment
