We are seeking a skilled Node.js backend developer to enhance and maintain the backend infrastructure of our React Native Expo mobile app. The app features audio content, community interactions, and in-app subscriptions, with some features currently disabled awaiting backend improvements and API updates. Your role will involve ensuring seamless integration and synchronization between app modules, backend APIs, and in-app purchase validations for both iOS and Android platforms. Requirements: Solid experience in Node.js with frameworks like Express or NestJS. Experience integrating with App Store and Google Play servers for subscription validation. Strong understanding of REST APIs, JWT authentication, and security best practices. Hands-on experience with MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or similar databases. Knowledge of Firebase, AWS, or equivalent cloud platforms. Familiar with analytics, logging, and error monitoring tools. Experience collaborating in multi-developer environments and maintaining clean API documentation. Nice to Have: Familiarity with audio content management, media storage (e.g., S3), or waveform data. Experience with serverless functions (AWS Lambda, App Runner) for modular scaling. Prior experience with feature flagging, real-time notifications, or socket-based systems.
