• Greet and assist visitors, providing information about the museum's exhibits and history.
• Conduct guided tours, sharing knowledge about the museum's artifacts and exhibits.
• Assist in the setup and maintenance of exhibits, ensuring they are presented attractively and accurately.
• Handle sales transactions in the museum's retail store, including operating the cash register and processing payments.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the retail store and museum areas.
• Restock merchandise and manage inventory in the retail store.
• Provide exceptional customer service, addressing visitor inquiries and resolving any issues.
• Support museum events and activities, including special exhibitions and educational programs.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure a positive visitor experience.

Museum Assistant and Retail Associate Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Friendly, reliable, and honest with a positive attitude.
• Ability to work weekends and evenings.
• Comfortable with public speaking and engaging with diverse groups of visitors.
• Basic math skills for handling sales transactions.
• Ability to lift and move merchandise and exhibit materials as needed.
• Interest in history, education, and retail operations.
• No prior experience required; training will be provided.
• Must enjoy working in a team-oriented environment.
• General cleaning and garden watering
• Ability to stand or walk for extended period of time.

Museum Assistant and Retail Associate Additional Information:

• Part-time position.
• Work attire and parking provided.
• Evaluation for pay increase after 90 days.
