Mobile Game Technical Artist (Unity / Rive / Spine) – Gamified Ecommerce App ⸻ Description We’re building a gamified ecommerce app (iOS + Android). Our mobile developers are already handling app flows, payments, and backend integration. We need a Game Technical Artist to make the experience feel like a real game: smashing objects, confetti bursts, animated reveals, and polished transitions tied to product rewards. Think “loot box” or “reward screen” animations — but for a shopping app. ⸻ Responsibilities • Create and implement 2D/3D visual effects, particles, and shaders in Unity. • Deliver juicy animations (squash-and-stretch, bursts, rarity reveals, win moments). • Provide optimized, reusable prefabs for our devs to integrate. • Ensure smooth performance (60fps) across iOS and Android mid-tier devices. • Collaborate with our developers to layer visuals into existing flows. ⸻ Required Skills • Strong Unity expertise (URP, Particle System, Shader Graph, DOTween). • Animation pipeline experience (Spine, Rive, After Effects → Unity). • Portfolio with reward/reveal or loot-style animations. • Understanding of mobile optimization (sprite atlases, batching, compression). ⸻ Nice to Have • Background in casual or hyper-casual mobile games. • Knowledge of ecommerce or gamified UX. • Familiarity with haptics and sound integration.
