I have a Ruby on Rails app with a Postgres database, Redis for caching/queueing, and Sidekiq for background jobs, currently deployed on Google App Engine using Terraform and GitHub Actions. There are two environments: production and staging. The app is stable but slow and expensive on App Engine. We’re looking to ditch App Engine for a faster, cheaper VM-based setup to host the app. I need someone to set this up, reconfigure the necessary infrastructure as code, update our CI/CD pipeline, and get everything running quickly.
