We are seeking a mid to senior level Django developer with experience designing and implementing applications in the healthcare space. Your primary responsibility will be to assist our team in the SureScripts certification process, ensuring compliance with all necessary standards and protocols. You will work closely with our team to identify gaps, implement required changes, and conduct thorough testing prior to submission. Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations and Django best practices is essential for success in this role. While our current stack does not include React on the frontend, we plan to migrate in the future, so React experience is a plus. Required Qualifications: - 3+ years of experience with Django and Django REST Framework. - Experience working in the healthcare industry (e.g., EHR/EMR integrations, HL7, FHIR). - Experience with SureScripts implementation ++ - Experience designing and maintaining scalable and secure applications. - Proficiency with PostgreSQL - Knowledge of authentication and security best practices, including OAuth2 and JWT. - Familiarity with Agile development and version control (Git, Bitbucket). - Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a remote environment. Preferred Qualifications: - React experience (or willingness to learn, as we plan to migrate the frontend). - Experience with AWS and Docker. - Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure automation. - Previous experience working on pharmacy-related applications. Initially expecting 15-20 hours of work per week with an opportunity to expand the role over time.
