We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Licensing & Software Asset Management (SAM) Consultant to perform a structured licensing compliance and optimization assessment. The consultant will help conduct discovery of Microsoft 365, on-premises server products, and related environments to establish a baseline Effective License Position (ELP), identify potential compliance gaps, and propose cost-optimization opportunities. The ideal candidate has prior experience with Microsoft licensing audits or optimization projects, strong knowledge of Microsoft Product Terms (M365, SQL, Windows Server, RDS/CALs), and the ability to translate raw inventory data into actionable recommendations. Familiarity with healthcare/public sector environments is a plus but not required. This engagement will include analysis of licensing entitlements, usage, and assignments, as well as support in building clear, customer-ready reports and optional dashboard visuals.
