- Description
- 1. Responsible for hiring, training, orientation, coaching, progressive discipline and performance evaluations of direct reports.
- 2. Provides leadership to direct reports in the execution of work plans and long and short-term goals. Implements site level infrastructure and changes to supporting processes and systems. Implements and completes site goals.
- 3. Maintain and adjust work schedules and ensure optimal staffing across assigned areas within clinic(s).
- 4. Monitors and ensures compliance with medical protocols and administrative procedures, HIPAA, CLIA, OSHA and state and federal regulations.
- 5. Adheres to, reviews, and develops policies and procedures, making recommendations for improvements, updates, and/or changes to the Clinical Services Director.
- 6. Addresses and resolves patient-related issues (such as complaints, customer service, etc.) in collaboration with the Clinical Services Director.
- 7. Regularly interfaces with providers, managers, and staff to facilitate communication and improvement activities.
- 8. Analyzes patient flow problems and assists in instituting solutions.
- 9. Responsible for developing, managing and evaluating systems to promote lean practices and standard work.
- 10. Acts as a role model to support clinic and system policies and managerial decisions. Promotes teamwork and enhances a positive work environment. Encourages and supports teamwork and mutual respect among all coworkers.
- 11. Possesses excellent customer service skills and act as a role model in providing exceptional customer service.
- 12. Maintains adequate staffing levels to provide outstanding patient care and service.
- 13. Oversees medical supply ordering and coordinates with COO and CFO regarding budget and expenses as needed.
- 14. Works with Chief Financial Officer in developing and monitoring the budget for areas of direct responsibility.
- 15. Assesses quality of and coordinates patient care services with patients, staff, and Providers
- 16. Interacts and collaborates regularly with Providers to provide direction and oversight of effective schedules, efficient clinic workflow and patient flow, establishing and maintaining a cooperative relationship of trust with Providers.
- 17. Responsible for reviewing and approving direct reports and any employee under direct reports time cards.
- 18. Other duties as assigned.
- Requirements
- 1. Bachelor’s degree in health care or business field, preferred
- 2. 1-2 year’s experience supervising staff preferred
- 3. Experience with electronic medical records
- 4. Knowledge of computer applications and equipment related to work. Must have basic computer skills and have the ability to enter data within company’s computer system to include strong knowledge in MS Word/Excel.
- 5. Demonstrated ability in leadership and organization.
- 6. Ability to plan, organize and direct.
- 7. Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with other staff and management.
- 8. Demonstrated skill in developing and maintaining productive work teams.
- 9. Ability to demonstrate personal integrity in all interactions.
- 10. Ability to support and work with a diverse patient base
- 11. Good oral and written communication skills
- 12. Self-starter and able to work with minimal supervision
- 13. Ability to interrelate with wide variety of people
- 14. Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality
