Key Responsibilities

• - Supervise and support the daily activities of the billing and accounts receivable team
• - Ensure accurate and timely submission of claims and follow-up on unpaid or denied claims
• - Monitor billing performance metrics and implement process improvements
• - Provide training and mentorship to team members to enhance their skills and productivity
• - Collaborate with other departments to resolve billing issues and optimize revenue cycle processes
• - Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and payer requirements
• - Assist in resolving complex billing issues and escalate as necessary

• Requirements

Skills and Qualifications

• - Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical billing and accounts receivable
• - Leadership experience preferred but not required
• - Knowledge of FQHC billing processes and experience with MA and Epic systems preferred but not required
• - Strong understanding of healthcare billing regulations and payer requirements
• - Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• - Ability to lead a team effectively and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• - Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and compliance
