Job Title: Media Buyer (Google & Meta) for Local E-com Pivot | Base + Performance Commission Budget: $500/mo Retainer + Commission per Sale Location Focus: Austin, TX (Remote OK) The Company: Bike & Grow is a local kids' bike business in Austin, TX. We are an authorized retailer for premium brands like Woom and Strider. We are currently completing a website rebuild (launching mid-December) to pivot our business model from "Subscription Only" to a Hybrid "Buy vs. Rent" Model. The Goal: We need a strategic Media Buyer to build and manage our campaigns for a 90-Day "Viability Pilot." Our primary goal is validating the unit economics of the new model and capturing local Q4 holiday demand. The Strategy (Why we need you): 70% Google Ads: We need to capture high-intent local traffic immediately. Since we offer local delivery/assembly, we can serve "Last Minute" Christmas shoppers that big online retailers cannot reach. 30% Meta/Instagram: We view this primarily as a retargeting and brand awareness channel. Creative Autonomy: We will provide the raw assets (product photos, lifestyle shots, brand guidelines), but we look to you for the creative strategy. You have the freedom to test hooks, angles, and ad copy that you believe will convert best. We don't micromanage ad sets; we measure results. Compensation Structure (Base + Bounty): We are bootstrapping this pivot, so we prioritize performance over high fixed retainers. Base Retainer: $500/month (Guaranteed). Setup Fee: $250 (One-time, for initial tracking audit & campaign build before launch). Please note the ads budget is separate and paid by Bike & Grow. Performance Bounties (Uncapped): Tier 1 (High Margin Bikes): $60 per Sale. Tier 2 (Balance Bikes): $15 per Sale. Tier 3 (Subscriptions): $30 per Signup. Note: Bounties are paid on top of the retainer. Responsibilities: Pre-Launch Setup: Audit our current ad accounts and ensure GA4/Pixel tracking is correctly configured for the new WooCommerce site before we go live. Campaign Management: Launch and optimize Search and Shopping campaigns targeting the Central Texas area. Reporting: Maintain a simple attribution sheet to track sales sources (Google vs. Organic) for commission payouts. Requirements: Proven experience managing Google Shopping/Search for e-commerce (High-ticket items preferred). Understanding of local SEO/Ads strategy (how to leverage "Near Me" intent).
