• SUMMARY
• Design mechanical and electromechanical conveyors and automation systems for a variety of food, pharmaceutical and other manufacturing operations. Products include assembly line conveyors, packaging lines, and peripheral equipment.

• DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• · Design and develop mechanical and electromechanical conveyor and other automation products by studying customer requirements.
• · Develop drawing and manufacturing processes necessary for fabricating, building, and assembling equipment.
• · Assure system and product quality by designing testing methods; testing finished- product and system capabilities; confirming fabrication, assembly, and installation processes.
• · Provide engineering information by answering questions and requests.
• · Assure completion of projects by training and guiding shop assembly personnel as necessary.
• · Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks.
• · Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• · Routine sales support travel to visit new and existing customers.
• · Attend relevant trade shows.
• · Provide customer support by responding to customer inquiries and requests when called upon by Sales.

• Requirements
• Ability to analyze and interpret data.
• Self -starter.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate both verbally and written.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers and the general public.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suites.
• EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.

Candidates are PREFERRED who offer the following

• Prior work experience in the automated conveyor systems industry.
• Prior experience working with AutoCAD Inventor (2D and 3D), Microsoft Office Suites.

• PHYSICAL DEMANDS
• Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, and talk or hear. Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Occasionally required to travel by airplane or vehicle.
