 - Exhibit and develop maximum customer relations through friendly and courteous behavior.
 - Promote a high level of morale within department and store, utilizing friendly but professional methods of honest and open communication.
 - Maintain good working relationships with other department managers with the objective of improving sales storewide.
 - At all times remember that our success will be dependent upon our ability to work together.
 - Comply with all company policies, programs and directives as specified in the Code of Conduct.
 - Assists in maintaining proper freshness, code dating, tares, and merchandising of the products in compliance with governmental guidelines and company policies and procedures.
 - Capable of recognizing the quality of all service and self-service meats from their appearance and distinguishing between types and cuts of meat.
 - Assists in proper department pricing, rotating and merchandising to meet company policies, procedures and objectives.
 - Maintains an awareness of competitive activity within the store marketing area.
 - Pulls outdated, rewraps or applies new labels as necessary.
 - Stays aware of current sale prices and location of products. Answers guest inquiries in a prompt and friendly manner.
 
- Requirements
 
COMMUNICATION
- Ability to write, speak, hear, and understand the spoken word to respond promptly to pages, requests, team members and guests.
 - Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance manuals.
 
COMPUTER
- Basic computer skills preferred.
 
EDUCATION
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED); or related job experience and/or training are preferred.
 - EXPERIENCE
 - No experience required.
 
MINIMUM AGE
- 18 years of age.
 
REASON ABILITY
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form or when helping resolve a team member or guest concern.
 - Ability to lift up to 50lbs. or more.
