  • Exhibit and develop maximum customer relations through friendly and courteous behavior.
  • Promote a high level of morale within department and store, utilizing friendly but professional methods of honest and open communication.
  • Maintain good working relationships with other department managers with the objective of improving sales storewide.
  • At all times remember that our success will be dependent upon our ability to work together.
  • Comply with all company policies, programs and directives as specified in the Code of Conduct.
  • Assists in maintaining proper freshness, code dating, tares, and merchandising of the products in compliance with governmental guidelines and company policies and procedures.
  • Capable of recognizing the quality of all service and self-service meats from their appearance and distinguishing between types and cuts of meat.
  • Assists in proper department pricing, rotating and merchandising to meet company policies, procedures and objectives.
  • Maintains an awareness of competitive activity within the store marketing area.
  • Pulls outdated, rewraps or applies new labels as necessary.
  • Stays aware of current sale prices and location of products. Answers guest inquiries in a prompt and friendly manner.
  • Requirements

COMMUNICATION

  • Ability to write, speak, hear, and understand the spoken word to respond promptly to pages, requests, team members and guests.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance manuals.

COMPUTER

  • Basic computer skills preferred.

EDUCATION

  • High School diploma or general education degree (GED); or related job experience and/or training are preferred.
  • EXPERIENCE
  • No experience required.

MINIMUM AGE

  • 18 years of age.

REASON ABILITY

  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form or when helping resolve a team member or guest concern.
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs. or more.
