Key position responsibilities include, but not limited to: Procure and expedite materials to meet production requirements in a cost-effective manner, ensuring all forecast requirements are met on time and in full. Manage suppliers and communicate priorities daily to ensure best practices in purchasing, delivery, and payment of materials. Determine required materials and generate purchase orders, expediting orders as needed to ensure timely delivery. Collaborate with warehousing, production, and external supply planning teams to ensure seamless production supply. Manage site inventory levels, including slow and obsolete stock (SLOB) management and invoice validation, reconciliation, and queries. Participate in site NOP (Notice of Production) process and negotiate with vendors on expected delivery timings. Maintain data integrity in BPCS system and notify planners of shortfalls to ensure a feasible production plan. About you: Currently hold or working towards a certification in Planning and Inventory Management (CPIM) Proven experience in materials purchasing and scheduling, with a strong understanding of supply chain operations Hands-on experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and databases, with the ability to learn and adapt to new systems Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines in a dynamic production setting Strong attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy and data integrity Proficiency in Microsoft Suite including Microsoft Excel (required) Eligibility to work in Australia with full working rights Benefits of working with us Pay for Performance – industry leading variable compensation offerings tied to company and individual performance on top of a competitive base salary package Parental Leave – paid time off for both primary AND secondary caregivers Leave Options – Purchased leave, volunteer leave and LiveWell leave programs to give you even more flexibility to plan your life and spend time on causes that matter Novated Leasing Great Place to Work certification in Australia and New Zealand In House Training Programs Corporate Discount Programs Ready to make an Impact?
