We’re looking for a hands-on growth marketer or community strategist to help us launch our beta user acquisition campaign for a new productivity app built for new dads balancing work, family, and personal growth. The mission: Get our first 250 beta users — real people who’ll test, engage, and give feedback. We already have a strong foundation: ✅ Identified audiences and subcommunities (Reddit, parenting forums, newsletters, online dad groups) ✅ Existing raw copy and visuals ready for polishing ✅ A draft “New Dads Playbook” outlining our step-by-step outreach strategy Now we need a professional who can refine, execute, and optimize the campaign. RESPONSIBILITIES: - Refine our user acquisition playbook and manage outreach channels - Run and monitor campaigns across Reddit, Facebook Groups, newsletters, and communities - Polish and adapt our existing copy and visuals for each platform - Test messaging, hooks, and incentives (e.g., giveaway or “Dad Challenge”) - Build and maintain a simple feedback loop with new users - Track signups, engagement, and report weekly metrics YOU'LL BE GREAT FOR THIS ROLE IF YOU: - Have experience launching or growing early-stage apps or communities - Know how to reach niche audiences (especially lifestyle or parent-focused groups) - Have previously run Reddit, Facebook, or influencer outreach campaigns - Are fluent in writing clear, empathetic copy for online communities - Can think strategically but execute quickly and independently PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: - Prior campaigns that grew beta testers, app waitlists, or feedback communities - Case studies of user acquisition for startups or parenting-related brands - Familiarity with simple tools for signups (Airtable, Typeform, Outgrow, etc.) SCOPE & DELIVERABLES: - Goal: 250 engaged beta users - Duration: ~4–6 weeks - Deliverables: Campaign plan, outreach execution, weekly reports, and final summary of learnings HOW TO APPLY: Please include: - A short intro about your background and relevant experience - 1–2 examples or case studies of similar growth or beta campaigns - 3–5 bullet points on how you’d approach acquiring 250 “new dad” users ABOUT US We’re building MrSked, a minimalist productivity and time-blocking app designed to help new dads find balance and focus through better weekly planning.
