Role reports to: OC Business Unit Manager Location: North America, United States, Pennsylvania, Lititz Work Location: Fully Onsite What you will do The Manufacturing Team Leader will oversee production operations and manage production personnel to maximize quality and output on high speed packaging lines and manufacturing platforms. Key responsibilities Accountable for achieving production targets while maintaining cost controls. Supervise production operation to meet production goals. Establish personnel schedules and product lines based on business needs. Provide input to production flow and identify potential manufacturing issues. Track production orders and schedules. Compile and submit data for production and operating reports. Train staff in the areas of safety and quality. Review work to ensure compliance with the standards. Schedule or perform training for all employees. Recommend changes to standard operational and working practices. Provide input to operational budget. Manage costs to improve business financial results. Administer equipment maintenance and repair. Maintain records and notify management of reoccurring issues that may require equipment replacement. What are we looking for Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, Manufacturing, Packaging or related field 4 years of experience in the job offered or in a Manufacturing Team Leader-related occupation. Requires experience with: Continuous Improvement (CI) for manufacturing using Lean/Six-Sigma strategies Reviewing, assessing and setting daily direction for people, equipment, processes, and materials in a production environment Managing labor in a union environment Executing technical and process based root cause problem solving and applying corrective actions Cross-functional work with supply chain to set an efficient and effective production schedule Analyzing data and reporting/communicating results Technical writing, development, review and approval of procedures and processes Utilizing advanced manufacturing automation and computerized manufacturing execution systems Application, monitoring, and enforcing of cGMP standards and FDA regulations. What’s in it for you Annual base salary for new hires in this position ranges: $110,500.00 - $156,000.00 This takes into account a number of factors including work location, the candidate’s skills, experience, education level & other job-related factors.
