Department: 846000 Plant Maintenance Expectations: Collaborates with the Facilities Director to manage departmental administrative operations and project coordination. Contributes to the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and operational guidelines. Provides staff support through counseling and communication of departmental standards. Assists in budget preparation and financial oversight to ensure fiscal responsibility. Maintains documentation in full compliance with regulatory and governing body requirements. EDUCATION: Minimum High School diploma or associate's degree in Facilities Management or related trade required. EXPERIENCE/TRAINING: Minimum five (5) years' progressive experience in Facilities Management, preferably in hospital setting. LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS: Required: Current California (CA) Driver's License Preferred: Certified Healthcare Facility Manager (CHFM) SKILLS: Computer competency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), building automation system and preventive maintenance system preferred. Familiarity with the trade work of the areas or responsibility.
