As the Manager of Workforce Management, you will be responsible for overseeing, scheduling, and optimizing our organization’s workforce to ensure productivity, efficiency, and alignment with business goals. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong analytical mindset and excellent communication skills to collaborate across departments. We are currently looking for a: Manager or Workforce Management Roles & Responsibilities: Roles & Responsibilities: Supervisory Duties: Manage all aspects of Workforce Management and any other assigned departments Lead by example, attitude, and as a representation of Dutch Wonderland’s core values Act as an approachable mentor and coach to all assigned team members Manage and control all financial aspects of assigned departments while maximizing revenue and cost savings opportunities; maintain constant vigilance over departmental spending and budgets Act as a strategic visionary to implement measures that will favorably impact process, people, and/or profit Ensure compliance with company and industry best practices, policies, and procedures to create a safe and productive environment for colleagues and guests. Become knowledgeable of performing the essential duties of all Workforce Management positions and backfill these positions when needed Participate in all aspects of supervision of assigned employees, including hiring, orientation, training, performance coaching, and discipline. Assist with team scheduling and timekeeping activities All other duties assigned by leadership Serve as Manager-on-Duty to oversee daily operations, ensuring exceptional guest service, effective team leadership, and timely resolution of customer issues Departmental Duties: 1. Workforce Planning: Develop and implement effective workforce planning strategies to meet current and future staffing needs. Analyze historical data, industry trends, and business forecasts to anticipate staffing requirements. 2. Forecasting and Scheduling: Utilize company’s workforce management software (WFM), Quinyx, to develop and maintain accurate schedules for optimal staffing levels. Collaborate with cross-functional teams with support of company’s volume forecasting tool to ensure correct schedules are used to meet guest expectations. Manage all aspects of the WFM tool to ensure scheduling, forecasting, and reporting capabilities continue to be best-in-class. 3. Process Optimization: Conduct comprehensive assessments of current labor processes to identify areas for improvement. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement streamlined and standardized labor-related processes. Continuously seek ways to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in labor deployment. 4. Capacity Management: Collaborate with department heads to understand resource needs and constraints. Optimize workforce capacity to meet business goals, ensuring a balance between cost efficiency and service quality. 5. Labor Budget Ownership: Assist in the preparation of the seasonal labor budget at year end. Review budget as needed and ensure all departments are within budget expectations. Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Economics, Finance, Human Resources, Industrial Engineering, or other equivalent experience. 2-3 years of previous analytical, scheduling, workforce management experience required 1+ years previous work experience with Quinyx, Workforce Management (WFM) or employee scheduling software highly desired Previous hospitality, amusement park, food and beverage, theme park, or tourism experience preferred Language: Ability to read, write, and speak fluent English; Spanish or other bilingual language skills are a plus. Requirements: Must be at least 18 years of age to comply with PA Child Labor Laws Ability to work flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays Ability to frequently work hours that extend beyond 9 AM to 5 PM during the operating season Must be a data-driven leader, with an ability to analyze and appropriately react to operational trends Prior experience with workforce management, forecasting and conceptual understanding of demand-based planning preferred Must be proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point. Must possess exceptional customer service skills, with an ability to resolve questions, problems, issues, and concerns in a positive and professional manner Ability to handle high-pressure situations, meet the demands of constant deadlines and coordinate multiple priorities in a dynamic environment. Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills Must possess strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities Must possess excellent organizational skills and be able to handle multiple priorities simultaneously Physical Requirements: Ability to remain seated and sedentary for extended periods of time, while using a computer Ability to stand or walk for long periods of time throughout the workday Ability to occasionally stoop, twist, kneel, bend, squat, or reach above shoulders Ability to carry, push, pull, lift, and hold objects weighing 20 pounds or more Working Conditions: This role will be primarily based in an office setting with frequent interaction with other outdoor park locations Frequent exposure to the variable outside temperatures, including high heat, cold, direct sun, humidity, dust, rain, snow, ice, and other weather conditions Subject to frequent interruptions, constant repetitive motion, high noise levels, flashing lights, and heavily populated environments Team member benefits: Do not miss the chance to spark your career now!
