About
Our Manager IT Operations leads a team of professionals dedicated to the operation, planning, development, administration, security, support, maintenance, and/or deployment of IT. Location: strong preference for flexible hybrid location (onsite Meridian Idaho campus, and local work-from-home); there may be opportunity for fully remote work within a mutually acceptable location. #LI-Hybrid Required Education: Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent international degree in Computer Science, Information Science, Electrical Engineering, or other IT-related field of study; or equivalent work experience (Two years’ relevant work experience is equivalent to one-year college). Required Experience: 5/+ years’ related IT experience in batch, systems administration, and/or database administration, preferably to also include leadership and/or mentoring experience. As a Manager IT, your day may look like: Plans, develops, and deploys systems, data, infrastructure, and/or technologies to support assigned areas of responsibility. Facilitates alignment with assigned areas to optimize system and/or technology efficiencies. Designs, develops, implements, and supports IT Operations to align with standards and architectural requirements. Responsible for delivery and integration of internal systems, software, data, infrastructure, and/or technology as well as operational support. Communicates to key stakeholders, of assigned areas of responsibility, overall impacts of technology platforms, systems, and data changes. Manages and implements releases and/or upgrades for assigned systems, software, and/or other technologies. Leads technology area(s) that are critical to the department and ensures execution of the area of responsibility. Develops, implements, and maintains policies and procedures within IT Operations. Evaluates new technologies for assigned areas and impact to technology and business areas. Develops, builds, and monitors key metrics and participation in strategic roadmap development. As of the date of this posting, a good faith estimate of the current pay range is: $118,506 - $177,758. The position is eligible for an annual incentive bonus (variable depending on company and employee performance). The pay range for this position takes into account a wide range of factors including, but not limited to, specific competencies, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, relevant experience, skills, seniority, performance, shift, travel requirements, internal equity, geography, business or organizational needs, and alignment with market data. At Blue Cross of Idaho, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top range for the position. Compensation decisions are dependent on factors and circumstances at the time of offer.
