- Requirements
Required
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Technical school or certificate in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, or mechanics
- 10+ years of experience in facilities / building maintenance or skilled trades
- Broad knowledge across multiple trades, with demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and general building issues
- Strong mechanical aptitude; able to safely and effectively use a wide range of tools and equipment
- Solid understanding of preventive maintenance, safety practices, and applicable building codes
- Proven track record of completing projects promptly, thoroughly, and to a high standard of quality
- Ability to work independently with minimal direction as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
- Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders, and work in indoor/outdoor environments year-round
Preferred (not required)
- Trade licenses or certifications (e.g., HVAC, ASE, journeyman-level)
- Experience with fleet/vehicle maintenance or small engine repair
- Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
