The Riverwalk Plaza Hotel is seeking energetic, positive, friendly and reliable employees with good cleaning skills to join our Maintenance team. We are a 4-star, independently-owned, boutique hotel in downtown San Antonio on the River Walk.

Shift Availability:

Must be available for morning and/or evening shifts for up to a 40 hour work week.

Must be able to work a flexible schedule including Weekends and Holidays

Maintenance Responsibilities:

• Knowledge of basic repair work
• Knowledge of basic building systems such as HVAC, plumbing, electrical, etc.
• Knowledge of installation of fixtures, doors, windows, etc.
• Knowledge of painting, sanding, basic carpentry, etc.
• Mechanical aptitude
• Physical stamina
• Perform inspections of entire property including mechanical areas
• Performing a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, polishing, and wiping down
• Attention to detail
• Customer service skills when interacting with guests
• Using cleaning chemicals
• Assist Housekeeping, Houseperson, and all other departments at hotel
• Be able to work in a fast paced environment
• Be able to work well under pressure
• Work well as a team

Experience preferred but not required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
