We are recruiting for the following position: Sea Mar is a mandatory COVID-19 and flu vaccine organization Full-time Medical Assistant Supervisor position available at our WhiteCenter Medical Clinic. The Medical Assistant Supervisor is aleadership position, working collaboratively to ensure all patientsare receiving quality care and services. Responsibilities may include,but are not limited to, overseeing the performance of the medicalassistants working in the clinic, assisting with patient flow issues,performing procedures as needed, ensuring that all medical assistantsare completing every clinical quality measure for all patients,assisting with patient assessments, and administrative duties asassigned. DUTIES: * To hire, train, and supervise MAs in order to ensure effective andefficient patient care is being provided. In doing so, each patientwill receive quality, patient-centered care following establishedclinical guidelines for both preventive care and chronic diseasemanagement. The MA Supervisor is responsible for evaluating medicalassistant performance, and may provide feedback on the performance ofother positions within the clinic. * To ensure all performance measures are met, which include but arenot limited to clinical quality measures, provider productivity andresource management. * To provide clinical and administrative supervision to the clinicalcare team personnel in the clinic, including medical assistants (MAs),care coordinators, externs, and phlebotomists. * Ensure all employees adhere to the AIDET model of service with theexpectation that every employee provides exceptional service to everyperson, every time. * Conduct nursing audits to measure staff performance and patienthealth outcomes. * Plan and implement on-going in-service trainings for staffaccording to the established requirements. Trainings include annualcorporate trainings, QI trainings specific to the nursing departmentand infection control, and any trainings needed to accommodated systemor regulatory changes. * Ensures medication administration, storage, maintenance,dispensation, and waste logs are maintained in accordance with Sea Marpolicies and procedures.REQUIREMENTS: * Strong leadership, supervisory and training skills with a strongclinical background in ambulatory care. * Actively participate in staff meetings. * Interact sensitively and effectively with people of diversebackgrounds. * Anticipate the needs of patients and providers according toclinical presentation. * Anticipate the needs of the clinic according to existing demandsand resources and based on historical trends. * Flexibility with clinic hours. * Willingness to take on new projects. * Experience working with multicultural/diverse populations. * Bilingual English/Spanish is required.EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: * Must have graduated from an accredited program with an active MA-Clicense in the State of Washington or be licensed as an LPN in theState of Washington. * Must obtain Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR within 90 days of hiredate and maintain current certification throughout employment. * Must have completed state-mandated HIV/AIDS education.Hourly - Hourly Plan, 0.00 USD Hourly What We Offer: Sea Mar offers talented and motivated people the opportunity to work in a dynamic and growing community health organization.
