Position Summary

  • The Loan Documentation Representative II provides support in managing loan documentation risk by administering an assigned loan portfolio and assisting with post-closing loan documentation activities. This role coordinates work within the department and with other internal units, maintains documentation and tracking systems, and responds to internal and external inquiries in accordance with established procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • • Assist in managing loan documentation risk and administering an assigned loan portfolio
  • • Prepare loan documentation files following loan closings
  • • Support post-closing loan documentation reviews for completeness and accuracy, including signatures, missing documents, financial covenants, and key loan data
  • • Complete post-closing checklists and track outstanding documentation
  • • Enter and update critical loan data and tickler dates within the document imaging system (DIS)
  • • Obtain outstanding documentation from lead banks and support coordination efforts
  • • Process paid loan files, delete ticklers, and manage files in accordance with retention procedures
  • • Prepare files for potential sub-participation banks
  • • Follow established procedures for destroying inactive or withdrawn loan files
  • • Assist with quarterly stock letter preparation, stock log updates, and safekeeping of stock certificates
  • • Perform special projects and related duties as assigned

  • Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

Required

  • • High school diploma or equivalent, with emphasis in business coursework
  • • Proficient reading, writing, grammar, and mathematics skills
  • • Moderate interpersonal and communication skills
  • • Ability to perform tasks requiring visual and auditory attention
  • • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment

Preferred

  • • Specialized bank lending education or training.
  • • A minimum of two (2) years of experience in related positions

  • Pay: $44,000 - $50,000 per year.
  • Compensation is commensurate with experience and qualifications.
  • Work Location: Onsite
