Community Choice Credit Union is looking for a Lending Support Specialist to support our growing Lending Department. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring accurate, compliant, and timely processing of indirect and direct loan documentation—all while supporting our mission to help our neighbors achieve the life they desire.

- WHAT YOU’LL DO
As a Lending Support Specialist, you will support the entire loan lifecycle by
- * Processing indirect loan paperwork and ensuring complete and accurate documentation.
- * Disbursing indirect dealer reserve payments on the day of funding.
- * Preparing and reporting key indirect lending statistics to management.
- * Tracking dealership chargebacks and completing timely follow-up.
- * Documenting trends, patterns, and market information for leadership.
- * Conducting daily accuracy reviews of consumer, home equity, and business loans.
- * Assisting team members in clearing loan exceptions and maintaining review records.
- * Processing Skip-a-Pay requests.
- * Completing daily, weekly, and monthly reporting tasks.
- * Managing daily mail and routing to the proper departments.
- * Preparing, uploading, and scanning loan documentation in accordance with policies and procedures.
- * Processing MRM requests and subsequent actions.
- * Supporting members by processing CUNA insurance product claim requests.
- * Maintaining lien tracking for all secured loans: titles, UCC filings, RD-108s, releases, and termination statements.
- * Maintaining secure storage of out-of-state titles.
- * Responding to internal inquiries via email, phone, or chat within service standards.
- * Assisting with updates to Lending SOPs and recommending process improvements.
- * Preparing monthly lending reports (consumer, indirect, HE, business, exceptions, titles, and more).

- WHAT YOU’LL BRING
- * 0–2 years of related experience.
- * Knowledge of the financial industry and credit union products and services.
- * Understanding of State and Federal regulations (Reg Z, Reg B, etc.).
- * Strong communication skills—verbal, written, phone, email, and chat.
- * Excellent analytical, decision-making, and mathematical abilities.
- * Ability to manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
- * Strong relationship-building skills and a collaborative mindset.
- * Proficient computer skills, with experience using Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel preferred.
