- Description
- This is an opening for a legal assistant with at least three years’ experience working in residential real estate. This is a full time position (37.5 hours per week) with benefits. This position is fully in office.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to
- • Draft and edit legal documents for residential purchase and sale transactions; understanding of calculating statements of sale.
- • Maintain legal files including general organization, index transaction documents, and organize files for closing and post-closing.
- • Prepare title commitments and final title policies.
- • Maintain and track schedules, deadlines and calendars.
- • Schedule meetings, conferences and closings.
- • Coordinate travel arrangements.
- • Enter, edit and/or finalize billable time and client billings.
- • Research and respond to inquiries and requests for information.
- • Provide other support as necessary.
- Requirements
- • Excellent word processing skills including Microsoft Word and Excel .
- • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with other team members.
- • Ability to handle and adjust effectively to competing deadlines and priorities.
- • Typing speed of 50+ wpm.
- • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- • Reliable transportation.
- • Client service focused.
- • High level of professionalism.
- • Overtime be required as necessary.
