About
Job Description: Role: Lead Architect (Webflow, Memberstack, Custom JS) Project Type: SaaS Digital Health MVP Target Audience: Adults 50 to 80 (Requires strict accessibility standards) Budget: $6500 (Fixed Price) NDA: Required before final contract. Project Overview We are building Project Cognitive, a premium subscription platform offering a personalized cognitive wellness protocol for older adults. The Concept: Think of this platform as a Digital Personal Trainer for the Brain. Unlike standard brain-game apps that offer a static library of puzzles, our platform uses a proprietary assessment to generate a Curated Daily Prescription of mixed-media content. The User Journey: Intake: User takes a 4-part cognitive assessment (JS module). Analysis: System calculates scores, compares them intra-personally, and identifies a Focus Area (Relative Weakness). Daily Protocol: Every morning, the dashboard generates a unique Neural Circuit (1 Game, 1 Audio, 1 Video) tailored to that user. Calibration: Every 30 days, the user re-tests to measure progress and generate a PDF report. We need a developer who is part UI/UX Specialist (Senior Accessibility) and part Logic Engineer (Complex Algorithms). The Tech Stack Front-End: Webflow (Must be pixel-perfect, responsive, and WCAG AAA compliant). User Data: Memberstack or Outseta (Must handle tiered access, store assessment scores as variables, and manage user tags). Database: Webflow CMS (Structured for algorithmic filtering). Logic Engine: Custom JavaScript (Crucial for the assessment mechanics, game engines, and dashboard filtering). Detailed Deliverables & Technical Scope 1. The Daily Prescription Algorithm (The Core Logic) The dashboard must not be a static library. It acts as a daily checklist engine. The Daily 3 Logic: The system must generate 3 specific items per day for the user to complete. The Weighted Rotation Algorithm: You must build logic that queries the CMS based on the user's Profile Tags. The 3 daily items should follow this distribution: Slot 1 pulls content matching the user's Weakest Domain. Slot 2 pulls content matching the user's Strongest Domain. Slot 3 rotates through the remaining domains or Lifestyle content. High Performer Logic: If a user scores above 90% on all domains, the algorithm must switch to an Optimization Protocol (balanced rotation with higher difficulty settings). 2. The Baseline Assessment Engine (Custom JS) You will build a custom JS assessment module (approx 7 to 10 mins) containing 4 sequential tasks. We will provide the exact scoring formulas. Processing Speed: Reaction time test with randomized jitter delay. Working Memory: Adaptive Reverse Digit Span (gets harder with correct answers). Executive Function: Rule Switching Task. Episodic Memory: Delayed Word Recall. Output: The code must calculate raw scores, compare them intra-personally to find the Relative Weakness, and write that domain as a Tag to the user's Memberstack profile. 3. The Modular Game Engine Architecture Critical Requirement for Scalability: We need about 40 unique games, but you do not need to write 40 unique codebases. The Requirement: Build 10 to 12 core JavaScript Game Engines (e.g., A Matching Engine, A Sorting Engine, A Reaction Engine). The Implementation: These engines must pull their assets (images/text) from the Webflow CMS. Example: The Matching Engine can be used for a Face-Name Game OR a Shell Game simply by swapping the images in the CMS, without touching the code. Legal Note: We use Clean Room design. Do not clone visual assets from competitors. Use original assets. 4. The Content CMS Structure (Audio & Video) The platform uses a 3-Tiered content approach. You must build the CMS Collections: Audio Collection: Must include a custom audio player with a prominent 15-second Rewind button. Video Collection: Must include large, accessible Play/Pause controls and default Closed Captioning. Neuro-Priming Collection: A Quick Play section for looping ambient tracks (White Noise/Binaural Beats). Scalability: I (The Client) must be able to upload new Audios/Videos via the Webflow Editor, tag them, and have the algorithm automatically include them in the Daily Protocol rotation. 5. The Lifestyle Rituals Widget & Resources Daily Tracker: A persistent sidebar widget with 3 Toggle Buttons: Slept 7+ Hours, Moved Body, Connected Socially. Resources Page: A CMS collection for Recommended Tools including Affiliate Link buttons. 6. Senior-Specific UX/UI (Anti-Friction) The target user is 50 to 80 years old. We must eliminate tech frustration. Authentication: Configure Magic Links (Passwordless Login) as default. Set session cookies to maximum duration (30+ days). The Tremor Filter: Implement JS debouncing on all buttons. If a user accidentally double-clicks within 0.5s, it must count as a single click. Visuals: Body text minimum 22px. High contrast. No hidden Hamburger menus. Audio: System sounds must be lower frequency (no high-pitched beeps). 7. Retention & Data Features Monthly Calibration: Logic that forces a Re-Assessment every 30 days. Upon completion, show a Month 1 vs Month 2 comparison chart. PDF Report Generator: A button to Download Monthly Wellness Report. This generates a clean, branded PDF summary of the user's scores. The Observer Mode: Logic allowing a secondary email (family member) to receive the Monthly Report automatically. Clinical-Grade Data Structure: To support future research analysis, the database must not just overwrite user scores. It must create a Longitudinal Session Log for every game played. Store the Timestamp, Raw Score, and Derived Metrics (e.g., Variance, Errors) for every session. Proposal Requirements To be considered, please answer the following in your cover letter: Architecture: Briefly explain your logic approach. How will you filter the Daily Protocol? Game Modularity: Have you built JS components that pull variables/assets from a CMS before? Senior UX: Give one specific example of how you have modified a UI in the past to accommodate older users. Estimate: Confirm you are comfortable with the $6500 Fixed Price for this scope. To prove you read the full scope, please start your cover letter with the word: SYNAPSE
