About

I’m hiring a lead documentary editor for Episode 1 of Infrastructure Wars — a cinematic, narrative-driven series on the physical layer of the AI revolution. Ep. 1 is a deep dive into the nuclear reactors powering AGI (sponsored access to Copenhagen Atomics). Shoot Date: Wed, Sept 25 Start Editing: Sept 26 (immediate) Location: Remote (EU/UK time zone preferred) Footage: Dual 10-bit 4K (Sony FX6 / A7SIII, S-Log3), lavs + boom, factory B-roll, CEO sit-down + walk-and-talk, presenter stand-ups. You’re a fit if you: Cut narrative YouTube docs at Vox / Veritasium / Johnny Harris / Freethink / Cleo Abram / ColdFusion caliber. Can structure complex, technical topics into a tight, emotional story with momentum. Are fluent in S-Log3 10-bit workflows, temp grade, and clean XML/EDL handoff to color. Collaborate well with motion graphics (AE/Blender/C4D) and a colorist. Are fast, organized, and comfortable with tight turnarounds. Deliverables Main episode: 12–15 min, YouTube-ready (music, sound design, temp grade, graphics integration). Trailer/Teaser: 60–90 sec (YouTube + X/LinkedIn). Social cutdowns: 3–5 clips (9:16 + 1:1, 20–60 sec). Handoffs: Premiere/Resolve project, clean bins, relinkable proxies, XML/EDL for color, asset pack (fonts, LUTs, SFX cues). Workflow & Tools Editing: Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve. Graphics: After Effects (or coordinate with 3D artist). Reviews: Frame.io; comms via Slack/Zoom. Media: Organized drives + proxies provided. Nice-to-Have After Effects finesse (maps, kinetic type, simple infographic builds). Resolve familiarity for temp grades. Documentary sound polish (noise, VO cleaning, tasteful SFX/music builds). Timeline (target) Day 1–3 (Sept 26–28): stringout → radio cut. Day 4–7 (Sept 29–Oct 2): rough cut + first pass graphics. By Oct 9: picture lock; handoff to color + final mix. About Me I’m Siraj Raval (YouTube 775K). We’re building a flagship series—cinematic, high-signal, science-literate. If you can make reactors and grid constraints feel visceral and inevitable, let’s go.
