About the Role

We are looking for a strategic & executional individual to shape the future of High Value Experiences products (HVE) in LatAm.

In this role, you will own the end-to-end operations and come up with initiatives to drive growth for our HVE products including our Premium Products (Comfort, Black, XL), Airports & Venues, and Reserve, while driving adoption across high-value segments like Uber for Business and Travel.

This is a unique opportunity to deliver impact at scale, influencing how millions move with Uber by making every trip more comfortable, convenient, and dependable. You'll be at the forefront of defining what HVE means in mobility, in one of Uber's most dynamic and complex regions.

What You'll Do

  • Strategic Ownership: Work with executive leadership to set strategy. Keep the team motivated by explaining big-picture context for these strategic efforts, communicate top-down vision, and translate broader company strategy into goals specific to the team.
  • Problem Solving: Solve issues that involve people, projects, and processes by using logic and data, and lead different teams in the search for solutions to these issues. Identify the root cause of a problem, as opposed to focusing on the symptoms. Prioritize across several initiatives and topics.
  • Stakeholder Management: Act as a thought partner and lead cross-functional initiatives by building close relationships with global, cross-functional and local partners across operations, marketing, customer support, product, policy, and legal. Promote and ensure the team's voice is heard. Optimally find, suggest, and secure resources within and across functions.
  • Product Improvement: Leverage team's insights to identify, advocate for and drive product features or improvements that could improve the experience and efficiency of our marketplace. Collaborate closely with Product teams to ensure LatAm-specific needs are prioritized and successfully executed.

What You'll Need

  • Executional Excellence: Strongly lead and prioritize operations that require the support of peers and other teams and deliver results in a constantly evolving and ambiguous environment. Set a high bar for quality, prioritize effectively across competing demands, and lead through influence by securing alignment across teams. Communicate change in a way that addresses concerns and clarifies impact on the team and the individual.
  • Teamwork: Bring all the available tools to solve for high impact problems through constant collaboration and relationship-building with global and regional cross-functional teams. Keep the team motivated by continually reinforcing the team mission, aligning it with broader company vision. Actively seek out diverse opinions and feedback. Maintain healthy working relationships, even in disagreement.
  • Communication: English proficiency. Demonstrate fluency in English and excellence in communicating insights to senior audiences with clarity and impact. Experience interpreting and communicating data to senior audiences in an engaging and comprehensive way to gain and cascade strategy and plans, whether through business reviews, board presentations, or strategy docs. Ensure the "why" behind initiatives is always clear to drive understanding and action.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strategic & financial understanding: Ability to balance growth and efficiency and to be able to come up with long term plans that are ambitious yet achievable.
  • Project management experience: Experience influencing and coordinating other teams even without being directly responsible for the execution.
  • People management & team development: Proven track record of effectively leading high-performing teams.

We welcome people from all backgrounds who seek the opportunity to help build a future where everyone and everything can move independently. If you have the curiosity, passion, and collaborative spirit, work with us, and let's move the world forward, together.
