  • ROLE SUMMARY
  • As a janitor/housekeeper, your duty is to perform routine janitorial duties such as cleaning, mopping, sweeping, disinfecting, and disposing of trash and various types of waste. To maintain the establishment as clean and welcoming as possible.

  • ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (OTHER DUTIES MAY BE ASSIGNED)
  • Clean the restrooms thoroughly, clean stalls, mop floor, wipe mirror, clean sink, and restock whatever is needed.
  • Check every trash can in the building and take out the trash.
  • Vacuum the carpet in both gaming floors and the banquet room.
  • Sweep gaming floors, bar, restaurant, hallways, patio, and the parking lot.
  • Spray and wipe all the windows in the building.
  • Disinfect surfaces, doorknobs, and gaming tables.
  • Clean the breakroom, clean the microwave, and clean the fridge.
  • Mop the bar and bar area.
  • Clean HR offices thoroughly, clean bathrooms, clean breakroom, take out trash, and vacuum.
  • Go through the deep cleaning list and do what the supervisor/lead instructs that day.
  • Report anything that needs fixing or attention to the supervisor/lead.

  • EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Train, supervise, and counsel all employees in the department. Provide, develop, train, and maintain a professional work force. Ensure all services to members are conducted in a highly professional and efficient manner. Ensure a safe working environment and attitude on the part of all employees in areas of responsibility.
  • LANGUAGE SKILLS
  • Ability to communicate (understands, reads, speaks, and writes English). Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of an organization. Courteous telephone manner.

  • This job does not require mathematical skills.
  • REASONING ABILITY
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

  • Must be able to operate computer or smart technology to access and utilize third party apps. Ability to learn to operate mobile and hand-held radios.
