• WHAT YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR IN THIS ROLE

• The Primary function of this position is to clean, sanitize, and neaten common and office assigned areas of the facility, in a timely manner, according to a set of schedules and in emergency and non-emergency situations. Observing all safety regulations and ensure al GMP and quality standards are met and maintained. 

• * Obtain work schedule and daily production paperwork and prepare for operations
• * Perform a safety check on equipment to be used in the daily operations and ensure that all safety devices are functioning properly
• * Sweep, mop, scrub, and vacuum floors of common areas of buildings, using cleaning solutions, tools and equipment
• * Clean or polish walls, ceilings, windows, equipment, and building fixtures, using steam cleaning equipment, scrapers, brooms and variety of hand and power tools as required
• * Clean restrooms, fixtures, stalls, floors, and walls using solvents, brushes, rags, and power cleaning equipment
• * Re-fill paper towel dispenser, replace tissue rolls, fill liquid soap dispenser, and air fresheners
• * Clean and vacuum office area floors, dust furniture, water plants, clean coffee area and replace light bulbs as required
• * Gather and empty trash from all office and common areas and place in proper receptacle
• * Performs minor routine painting, plumbing, electrical, maintenance and related activities 
• * Dusts furniture, walls, machines, and equipment
• * Mixes water and detergents or acids in container to prepare cleaning solutions, according to specifications
• * Requisition supplies and equipment used in cleaning and maintenance duties and store in proper area
• * Notify management personnel concerning need for major repairs or additions to building operating systems 
• * Sets-up, arrange, and remove decorations, tables, chairs, etc. for events, meetings and social functions
• * Move items between departments, manually or using hand-truck or carts
• * At end of shift, secure all equipment, complete all required paperwork, and perform general housekeeping and clean-up as required

• WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Required Skills and Abilities

• * Knowledgeable in basic math skills
• * Able to use the equipment and tools available to safely perform the job in all assigned areas of the facility
• * Have a good understanding of basic chemical interactions and common precautionary procedures and actions
• * Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
• * Must be able to drive a golf cart.
• * Must complete all safety and food awareness training.

Minimum Qualifications

• * Must have High School/GED or six months to one year experience in related field or combination of both education and experience 
• * Candidates must have a verifiable history of safe vehicle operation and meet company standards for driving eligibility. This includesmaintaininga clean driving record, which will be verified through a background check

Preferred Qualifications

• * Previous janitorial and sanitation work experience. 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• * Environmental exposure – wet/cold (40° Fahrenheit or below) or humid/warm conditions (95° Fahrenheit)  
• * Material exposure – moving mechanical parts  
• * Occasional exposure to fumes, airborne particles, and vibrations  
• * Ability to lift, push, pull, and/or carry between 50 to 55 lbs.  
• * Ability to stand for long periods of time in an upright position walking on both even and uneven surfaces  
• * Ability to ascend and descend ladders, scaffolding, using 3-point contact on a regular basis  
• * Ability to stoop, crouch, and kneel on a regular basis  
• * Ability to use hands and arms to grasp, manipulate, and handle objects in one position for an extended period.  

HOURS & WORKDAYS

• 1st Shift - 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM; Monday through Friday, Weekends and holidays may be mandatory based on business needs. Rotation workday/time off schedules may be mandatory depending on department/business needs.
