Role Overview As a part of our IT team, you will play a key role in managing, optimizing, and troubleshooting the digital infrastructure that powers our business. You will be responsible for maintaining critical tools (ActiveCampaign, WordPress, Google Analytics, Zapier, Spiffy), ensuring smooth automations, and providing technical support across the team. The ideal candidate is proactive, resourceful, and solution-oriented with strong technical expertise. You should thrive in a dynamic, remote environment, enjoy problem-solving, and be confident in handling a mix of routine IT tasks and complex technical challenges. Responsibilities Platform & Tool Management - Manage, update, and optimize WordPress for website performance, security, and integrations. - Oversee ActiveCampaign: segment lists, optimize automations, troubleshoot email campaign issues. - Configure and maintain integrations using Zapier to streamline workflows across business tools. - Manage Spiffy (checkout tool) to ensure smooth e-commerce transactions and troubleshoot issues. - Track and analyze site and campaign performance using Google Analytics. Technical Support & Troubleshooting - Provide timely support for team members experiencing technical issues with tools or integrations. - Monitor systems for errors or breakdowns and resolve them quickly to minimize downtime. Implement and manage security best practices to safeguard business data. Workflow Optimization - Build and document Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for technical processes. - Recommend and implement new tools, plugins, or systems to improve efficiency. - Ensure integrations between marketing, sales, and learning platforms work seamlessly. Administrative & Additional IT Tasks - Maintain and organize digital assets and files in Google Drive. - Support CRM management and ensure data integrity across systems. - Perform software updates, backups, and other maintenance tasks. - Assist in evaluating and onboarding new tech tools as the company grows. - Manage the MB Scorecard to ensure accuracy and accessibility for the team. Qualifications - Experience: 2+ years in an IT, technical support, or systems admin role. - Technical Skills: Proficiency with ActiveCampaign, WordPress, Google Analytics, Zapier, Spiffy, and related IT tools. - Problem-Solving: Strong troubleshooting abilities with a proactive, solutions-first mindset. - Organizational Skills: Able to manage multiple systems and priorities effectively. - Communication Skills: Clear and professional communicator, able to translate tech jargon into simple instructions. - Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced, startup environment and adapting to new challenges. - Availability: Must be available between 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM EST to ensure overlap with the team. This is a part-time role of approximately 10 hours per week, with a preference for candidates who have the capacity and interest to take on additional hours as the role expands.
