The ideal candidate will have a high technical aptitude while being able to relate to those in the member/client facing roles.  The IT Business Process Analyst is responsible for understanding the applications and processes that are used at the credit union, participating in project implementations, and offering expertise, assistance, and solutions. This individual will develop and implement new plans and ideas as well as train on existing efforts with a fundamental understanding of securing member PII and response time SLA requirements.

  • Responsibilities and Duties
  • The IT Business Process Analyst position requires a comprehensive understanding of the applications used at the credit union and a strong relationship with business owners and IT vendors. This role will additionally support and participate in the FIT, LLC offerings.    

Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to

  • 1. Subject matter expert on core processing functionality.   
  • 2. Create test plans, test software functionality and how changes interact with ancillary products.    
  • 3. Document requirements associated with custom development items submitted by the departments.       
  • 4. Investigate and resolve application functionality related issues and provide support for end users.  
  • 5. Participate in the development of workflows to assist in the communication with technical teams and the business. 
  • 6. Understand the processes and tools used by the business to help assist in making recommendations for efficiencies.
  • 7. Comply with Founders’ policies and procedures, as well applicable laws, regulations, and statutes issued by federal agencies such as NCUA and FFIEC, including, but not limited to, GLB and BSA. Employees have legal and regulatory obligations to respect and protect the privacy of information and its integrity and confidentiality.

Job Specifications

  • 1. A minimum of five years’ relevant work experience is required.    
  • 2. A thorough knowledge of the concepts used in testing and verifying data is required. 
  • 3. A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Accounting or Information Systems is required.   
  • 4. Strong organizational skills. 
  • 5. Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical audiences. 
  • 6. Ability to work effectively with others in a team. 
  • 7. Ability to gather and analyze data. 
  • 8. Strong aptitude for problem solving. 
  • 9. Detail oriented.

  • Candidate must be available Monday-Thursday 8 am - 5 pm, Friday 8 am - 6 pm.  Due to the nature of project deadlines and end of period processing schedules, occasional evening and weekend work will be required.
