About

Description Encore Memories is a live iOS app in the App Store that previously relied on Firebase Dynamic Links. Following Firebase’s deprecation of Dynamic Links, our app’s updated codebase (in GitHub) now produces 503 errors on login and link-handling flows. We need a skilled iOS/Firebase developer to help finalize the migration, correct backend routing, and publish a working build to the App Store. Goal: Deliver a functioning new app version that successfully handles link creation, sharing, and deep linking without any 503 errors, fully replacing the deprecated Firebase Dynamic Links setup. Project Scope: Diagnose and resolve 503 errors occurring in the current iOS build (Xcode project provided). Review and synchronize both GitHub repos: iOS app Backend/link service Ensure proper integration between the iOS app and its backend (Firebase Hosting / custom link service). Implement the correct Universal Links / Associated Domains configuration for iOS. Verify that the new link service correctly mirrors the behavior of the old Firebase Dynamic Links functionality. Build, archive, and submit the new version to the App Store (I’ll handle final App Store credentials and approval). Deliverables Working app build on TestFlight that passes all link and login flows without 503 errors. Cleaned-up project configurations in both repos. Documented summary of what was changed (endpoints, plist updates, AASA validation). Successful App Store submission. Tech Stack iOS (Swift, Xcode) Firebase (Hosting, Auth, Cloud Functions optional) Custom Link Service replacing Firebase Dynamic Links GitHub for source control Ideal candidate Experienced with Firebase deprecations and migrations to custom dynamic link solutions. Strong understanding of iOS Associated Domains and Universal Links. Familiar with debugging 5xx server errors and cross-repo deployments. Comfortable with Xcode archive & App Store submission workflow.
