I have an iOS mood-tracking app and am preparing a rebrand and relaunch. The app is live and fully functional (Swift/UIKit, MVVM architecture, AppHud for subscriptions, Render backend with OpenAI + Firebase). I need an iOS expert to audit the app within the next 3 days, confirm everything is stable, and then move forward with a light rework and relaunch by early December. Phase 1 – Immediate Code Review (Inspection Period, 3 Days) Goal: Ensure project is clean, secure, and ready for continued development. Tasks: 1) Open and review full Xcode project. 2) Confirm AppHud subscription logic, in-app purchase handling, and “restore purchases” function. 3) Verify Render backend + OpenAI integration (API calls, keys, environment variables). 4) Check Firebase connection (analytics + messaging configuration). 5) Review Settings → Privacy / Terms / Support links for proper function. 6) Deliver short written summary: code quality, potential issues, and improvement suggestions. Phase 2 – Rebrand & Feature Polish (Due Dec 1, 2025) Brand & Visual Updates 1) Replace all titles with different title 2) Add a one-screen welcome / onboarding flow with brand copy. 3) Adjust affirmation text tone (calm, poetic, lunar). UX & Feature Enhancements 1) Implement “Allow Notifications” permission prompt. 2) Add local notifications for daily affirmations (structured so remote notifications via Firebase can be added later). 3) Add loading shimmer / animation while AI generates advice. 4) Ensure “skip for today” and “restore purchase” options work smoothly. Trust & Legal 1) Update Settings → Privacy Policy / Terms of Use links to my current brand link. 2) Rename certain links within app 3) Verify “Contact Us” and “Rate the App” buttons. 4) Add short note in Settings: “Your reflections stay private on your device.” Monetisation & App Store 1) Confirm AppHud receipt verification + trial handling. Analytics & Notifications 1) Verify Firebase Analytics event tracking. 2) Outline next-phase plan for remote notifications using Firebase Cloud Messaging.
