General Expectations
Highly motivated manufacturing individual, who has experience with inventory management and manufacturing operations. Has knowledge in developing and maintaining inventory controls and accounting policies in accordance with typical GAAP. The role will also involve
- · Analyzing financial statements, budget reports, and expenditure data.
- · Developing financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis.
- · Monitoring spending and ensuring that costs align with government contract guidelines.
- · Conducting financial risk assessments and recommending corrective actions as needed.
- · Collaborating with contract managers, program managers, and procurement teams to optimize financial performance.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for the coordination and execution of weekly cycle count performance.
- Responsible for inventory analysis (CETEC vs Actual) and discrepancy investigation.
- Provide recommendations regarding slow moving or obsolete inventory.
- Ensure that inventory is properly consolidated and stored for efficient issuance.
- Ensure that inventory has the proper traceability.
- Coordinate inventory adjustments with accounting and ensure transactions are timely.
- Perform BOM analysis (planned vs actual) in support of data accuracy.
- Provide support to ensure Return-To-Stock (RTS) material is properly re-entered into CETEC.
- Evaluate and perform analysis on material losses in the form of scrap and drop, etc.
- Assist in the organization and execution of the annual full physical inventory.
- May assist Material Control department with other activities (milk runs, material handling, and kitting) during down time.
- Requirements
Qualifications
- 1. Associates degree, preferred.
- 2. Aerospace / Government contract experience preferred.
- 3. Forklift experience, highly preferred.
- 4. Proficient user of Microsoft Office Suite.
- 5. Proficient user of an ERP systems, CETEC preferred.
Work Environment Requirements
- 1. Minimal travel required.
- 2. Office, Shop Floor & Warehouse environment.
- Work location: on site
