We combine professional writers with cutting-edge AI tools to make the process faster, more personal and affordable. We’re looking for skilled interviewers who can conduct warm, engaging conversations that bring out the heart of someone’s life story. You’ll meet clients over Zoom, guide them through thoughtful prompts, and record their stories for our writing team to turn into polished manuscripts. Each client’s project involves multiple interviews, typically one to three sessions lasting one to two hours each. This is a part-time, flexible, remote role averaging up to six hours per week, depending on client demand. What you’ll do: - Conduct 1–3 Zoom interviews per client using a provided question guide as reference. - Create a comfortable, conversational atmosphere that helps clients open up. - Ask insightful follow-up questions that draw out memories, emotions and personal reflections. - Record all sessions and upload the recordings to our secure system. - Communicate professionally with clients and the Story Sculpt team. What we’re looking for: - Strong communication and listening skills. - Genuine curiosity about people and their life experiences. - Ability to guide meaningful conversations and adapt to different personalities. - Professional demeanor and respect for client privacy. - Reliable internet connection and ability to record Zoom sessions. - Experience in interviewing, journalism, podcast hosting, creative writing, acting, counseling or storytelling is a plus. Compensation: - $80–$100 per hour, paid per interview hour. - Flexible schedule; you’ll be booked as clients request sessions.
