About
I’m seeking an experienced book interior designer to format and design the interior layout of a non-fiction book (~100,000 words). 1. Print-ready interior for softcover/paperback (KDP or IngramSpark) The manuscript is primarily text, with a clean, readable layout being the highest priority. Approximately 8 images will be included throughout the book, as well as a dynamic QR code graphic, and will need to be thoughtfully placed and styled to match the overall aesthetic. The design should elevate the reading experience while maintaining clarity and professionalism. ________________________________________ About the Book: This is a transformational health and healing workbook aimed at individuals navigating cancer and recovery. The tone is supportive, grounded, and inspirational. The final design should reflect that energy—clean, calming, elegant, and easy to read. Ideal Candidate: • Proven experience designing non-fiction interiors (preferably health/wellness genres) • Mastery of industry-standard design tools (InDesign, Vellum, Affinity Publisher, etc.) • Familiarity with both KDP and IngramSpark specifications • Ability to format clean and professional eBooks with functional navigation • Strong eye for typography and page balance • Excellent communicator who is collaborative and detail-oriented
