Job Summary
- Identifies, inspects, coordinates, and processes parts to be exchanged. Dispatches materials and parts in accordance with production schedules and commitments. Monitors all backorders and communicates and provides technical assistance to parts sales, customers, and branches. Updates and monitors the parts inventory database and places orders as needed. Generates progress reports on schedule status, parts usage, and inventor,y and keeps records of completed orders.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels for industrial parts and supplies, ensuring accurate stock counts and timely replenishment.
- Order Processing: Receive, verify, and process incoming parts orders, including checking for accuracy and inspecting for damage.
- Record Keeping: Maintain detailed records of inventory transactions, including receipts, disbursements, and adjustments.
- Storage and Organization: Ensure parts are correctly stored and organized for easy retrieval. Implement and maintain an efficient storage system.
- Stock Replenishment: Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to reorder parts and materials as needed. Track lead times and delivery schedules.
- Customer Service: Deliver exceptional service to internal customers by promptly fulfilling parts requests and promptly addressing any issues or discrepancies.
- Quality Control: Inspect and verify parts to ensure they meet quality standards before distribution to production or maintenance teams.
- Reporting: Generate regular inventory reports and assist with audits as required.
- Safety and Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and industry regulations, ensuring a clean and safe work environment.

- Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Additional training in inventory management or related fields is a plus.
- Previous experience in inventory management, warehouse operations, or a similar role is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Proficiency with inventory management software and basic computer applications.
- Ability to lift and carry items up to 50 pounds. Must be able to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with team members and external vendors.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to
- Stand and walk for extended periods
- Walk on uneven ground and wet or slippery floors
- Twisting, turning, kneeling, stooping, and bending most of the day
- May be required to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Exposure to spices (allergens), including but not limited to soy and wheat
- Exposure to high noise levels and high heat environment: PPE
- Slip-resistant shoes, hair and beard net, safety glasses, and earplugs are required in the work areas; gloves are recommended.
