Project: We are building a SharePoint-based RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) system and need an experienced Sr. developer to do a quick, independent code review. The original developer is behind schedule (10 weeks into a 5-week timeline), and before investing more, we need to confirm: Code quality and structure How close the project is to completion (% done) Any critical issues or risks Whether to continue, supplement, or start over. Your Role Review the current codebase and SharePoint integration. Attend meetings with original developer for knowledge transfer Identify gaps, risks, and next steps. Provide a clear written report with: Completion percentage estimate Priority task list with rough time estimates Recommendation on whether to salvage or rebuild Walk us through findings on a 30–60 min call. Requirements Strong SharePoint development background (custom integrations, APIs). Experience with RAG/AI-powered search systems. Ability to provide examples of enterprise RAG deployments Ability to explain complex technical details simply. Previous experience doing code audits or technical reviews.
