Description: I am seeking a talented illustrator to create professional, publication-ready illustrations for my upcoming book (Volume 2). The book is written in a journal and reflective style, with an undertone of Irish culture and music woven throughout. Project Scope: Black-and-white line drawings (clean, elegant, timeless, journal-inspired) Illustrations will include: Simple but expressive portraits (musicians, instruments, etc.) Reflective landscapes or quiet, thoughtful scenes Small decorative flourishes or motifs (minimalist, journal-style, with subtle Irish influence) Spot illustrations to accompany sheet music and personal stories Approximate number: 12–15 illustrations (final count TBD) Aesthetic references: minimalist sketchbook drawings, Moleskine journal sketches, reflective memoir illustration styles — simple but meaningful, with subtle cultural undertones. Overall tone: journal-first, reflective and artistic, with Irish culture/music as a gentle backdrop. Deliverables: High-resolution digital files suitable for print (300dpi, TIFF or PNG) Source files (PSD/AI/Procreate or equivalent) Work must be original and exclusive to this project Qualifications: Strong portfolio in journal-style, reflective, or memoir-inspired illustration Experience preparing illustrations for print publishing Ability to follow creative direction while also bringing artistic vision Comfort blending subtle cultural/music undertones without making them the central focus Timeline: Immediate start All final illustrations must be completed and delivered by October 17, 2025 Budget: Open to discussion based on experience and portfolio.
