We are creating an animated children’s YouTube series and are looking for a highly creative illustrator to design unique, standout characters. This project begins with one character, and if we like the work, we will continue with up to 10 original characters. What We Need: -Front view and back view of the character -One expression (based on the character’s personality) -Clean, high-resolution drawings suited for 2D animation -A visually appealing, kid-friendly style that is not generic -Ability to maintain a consistent art style across multiple characters Art Style Requirements: We are looking for something very unique, imaginative, fun, and bold — not your typical or average animal character. Think: The charm and simplicity of Bluey The expressive, memorable shapes of Peppa Pig Original, creative, eye-catching character designs that stand out immediately and appeal to children Your creativity is key. We want someone who can help bring our vision to life by designing characters that feel fresh, playful, and full of personality. About the Characters: -Mostly animals (cats, chipmunks, monkeys, etc.) -A few human characters -Each should have a distinctive silhouette and personality -Designs should be appealing, friendly, expressive, and animation-ready Project Scope: -Start with 1 trial character -Potential to create up to 10 characters if the style fits -Open communication and willingness to collaborate on small tweaks What to Include When Applying: -Portfolio or samples of past character designs -Any experience with children’s series or animation-friendly artwork -Timeline for delivering one character -Your rate for front view + back view + one expression If you love creating imaginative, fun, and bold characters — and want to help build a series that stands out visually — we’d love to work with you!
