  • Job Description
  • We are seeking a results-driven HVAC Sales Representative (Comfort Advisor) to join our growing team. In this role, you will be the face of M&S, meeting with homeowners to assess their current HVAC systems, design custom comfort solutions, and present proposals for system replacements and upgrades. You will combine your technical knowledge with exceptional sales skills to help customers make informed decisions about their home’s climate control.
  • Key Responsibilities and Duties
  • In-Home Consultations: Conduct professional, thorough in-home assessments of residential HVAC systems to identify customer needs and system inefficiencies.
  • Solution Design: Recommend and design customized HVAC solutions (Central Air, Heat Pumps, Ductless Mini-Splits) that improve home comfort and energy efficiency.
  • Sales Presentations: Deliver compelling sales presentations that clearly explain the benefits of M&S products, financing options, and our quality installation process.
  • Lead Management: Promptly follow up on company-provided leads and proactively generate new business through referrals and community networking.
  • Technical Sizing: Perform "Load Calculations" and system sizing to ensure recommended equipment is perfectly matched to the home’s requirements.
  • Documentation: Accurately complete sales contracts, finance paperwork, and installation "job packets" to ensure a seamless hand-off to the installation team.
  • Customer Experience: Act as the primary point of contact from the initial consultation through the completion of the installation to ensure 100% customer satisfaction.
  • Market Knowledge: Stay up-to-date on South Florida energy codes, utility rebates, and the latest HVAC technology (high-efficiency SEER2 ratings).
  • Required Qualifications
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of successful sales experience, preferably in HVAC, home improvement, or a related in-home service industry.
  • Technical Aptitude: A solid understanding of residential HVAC systems and the ability to explain technical concepts in "layman’s terms" to homeowners.
  • Communication: Elite interpersonal and verbal communication skills; ability to build rapport and trust quickly.
  • Driver’s License: Valid state-issued Driver's License with a clean driving record (essential for travel to client homes).
  • Self-Motivation: A "hunter" mentality with the ability to manage a flexible schedule, including some evenings or Saturdays to accommodate homeowners.
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience as an HVAC Service Technician looking to transition into sales.
  • Knowledge of South Florida building codes and Deerfield Beach/Broward County permitting processes.
  • Proficiency with sales CRM software and digital presentation tools (e.g., iPad-based sales apps).
